Los Angeles Department of Water and Power
Location: Downtown Los Angeles, CA
Project Focus: Architectural & Interior Design

Project Overview
The team at LA-A accepted a significant endeavor — to reenvision the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power's (LADWP) corporate offices across the 11th, 12th, and penthouse floors of a prominent 14-story building in Downtown LA. This move aimed to unite various departments into a trio of centralized floors.
The project was fast-paced, with an ambitious timeline of just 90 days to deliver preliminary layouts, refined design development, and comprehensive construction plans for the necessary city approvals. Compounded by the COVID-19 pandemic, the project faced unprecedented challenges, including extended lead times for materials and surging costs, all while maintaining progress through uncertain times.
