Project Description

Dr. Harrison Lee is a distinguished triple board-certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon with offices in Beverly Hills, CA, Manhattan NY, and Dubai, UAE.

We were presented with the task of designing a comprehensive ambulatory surgical center (ASC) and medical office (MO) in an 1800 SF existing suite in a multi-story class “A” building.

The medical office included two exam rooms, a doctor’s office, a consultation office, a breakroom for staff, reception, waiting area. The ambulatory surgical center included a fully equipped operating room, a 2-bed recovery area, a soil/clean area, a medical gas room, and a patient restroom.

Challenges and Solutions

The biggest challenge for this high-profile plastic surgery ASC and MO was to accommodate the client-requested program in the 1800 SF suite that had structural constraints and pre-existing configuration of demising walls and limited space layout options.

To overcome the spatial constraints and satisfy the client's requirements, we utilized smart space planning and innovative design solutions. We optimized the usage of the available area by creating efficient, adaptable spaces that serve multiple functions. Additionally, we employed state-of-the-art ergonomics and modern aesthetics to enhance the overall patient experience and staff functionality.
